Default how much vacuum at idle with torquer v3 cam

So I'm trying to figure out this hanging idle/ surging and bucking which is driving me insane. I hooked up a vacuum gauge right to my intake and was around 11-12 hg at idle. Not sure what it's supposed to be though so idk if I have a leak or not.

Sounds about right. I'm at 20 hg at idle with my cam.

The surging/bucking is happening at idle or low speed? At low speed (say under 1400 RPM in 6th) is due to light load and the overlap. There's not much you can do to tune it out. Though the V3 isn't so big that it should be that pronounced. You may need to retune for drivability and idle, which takes some time.

When you do that, you need to make sure your MAF/VE is tuned properly and that you're not dumping too much fuel or that your desired airflow is off. Spark advance also helps. I'd start with the VE/MAF readings and get them dialed in first, then evaluate your airflow, and finally work on spark. You may also need to adjust your idle cracker and follower tables if you're hanging as you come to a stop (or your desired airflow is too high).

Ok. If I knew how to tune them I'd be good. I have hptuners but no idea what to change when it comes to that stuff.

You'll probably have to pull timing at whatever RPM your getting the surge.
