Default Mast LS3 vs TFS 255 Heads

looking to upgrade my current Prc l92 heads to a nice set of heads. Motor is a 408 lq9 fast 102/102 100mm maf 104mm lid 240/254 .640/.612. I'm torn between the Mast medium port heads and the new Tfs 255 ls3 heads. Has anybody had any experience with these heads or that can chime in?

Likely a wash between the two. What's the price difference?

Last I checked, TFS 255's were $2495 direct from TFS, and Mast 256's were $3500. With upgrades from vendors the TFS price will go up though. I'd really be surprised if you would see a significant performance benefit for the extra cost of the Mast. From their published numbers, their respective coefficients of discharge are quite similar on the intake, the CD on the exhaust is a little higher on the Mast <=.300 lift otherwise similar.

You might also consider the WCCH CNC L92 heads, priced around $2700. Intake runner is a little larger at 268cc (stock is 260cc). Exhaust CD is similar to Mast, intake is a little lower after .500.

You already have PRC's, do you mean the 255/260cc variety? The 255/260's should be right in the running with those above, the 255's will be a little restrictive about 6000RPM though.

Thanks for the replies. Picked up some TFS 255cc's for $2500 couldn't beat the price.
