What would be the best heads and cam to make around 550hp/tq at the wheels. As well as having full bolt ons too.

How much money do you think it would take alone in just engine work? $10k ? Yes I would be.

 

I don't know if you'll get 550tq n/a. I'm shooting for 550rwhp with my 408. 1 7/8 headers, 4" exhaust, prc 247s, 251/259 cam, ported 102, 100mm intake tract. I'm just putting some miles on it now before the dyno tune. Should have some numbers in a couple weeks. 550 seems to be a tough number to get. Tsp had a 418 with my heads/cam make 575.

 

I'm go say some TFS 235cc heads touched up by a good porter.
If you pay real close attention to builds on here it seems like 408 motors do best with those heads. 550 rwhp is doable!! It's a car/member on here that made 560rwhp with a AFR headed 403 LQ motor in a Camaro.
