Hey Guys....

Just wanted to thank all of you that took the time to chime in to this thread. I really appreciate the warm reception so to speak and it means alot to me.

Just to set the record straight I'm not choosing a different career path and I'm ironing out a few loose ends before posting in more detail about my new venture and where to contact me in the future. Should have something posted up by the close of the weekend if things go smoothly.

Again, thanks for all the well wishes

Cheers,
Tony

So you mean I won't get to hear "you have reached Tony Mamo, I'm either out of the office or on the phone right now etc, etc" every time I try to ring your extension at AFR and get slugged with half a dozen international call connection fees, that's going to be very sad.

Good luck with the new venture, I'm sure you'll be equally as good at selling encyclopaedias door to door as designing cylinder heads, I hear that once you establish a customer base you can make a really solid minimum wage.

Seriously though mate, I hope it goes hugely well for you, thanks for your help with my stuff, a few laughs and lots of learning from info that you have generously posted on here, keep in touch, stay safe and well.

Best wishes,
DB.

Default The next chapter....

OK Guys....seems some of you may have already read or heard, but for those who haven't, my new venture will be aptly named Mamo Motorsports (one guy's post in the Gen IV internal was priceless as he was guessing the potential name of my new venture and missed by an inch on every side of it.....LOL)

Anyway, my new email address is tony@mamomotorsports.com and my very new website address is www.mamomotorsports.com

Check it out when you get a few minutes and read the welcome note quickly as it kind of highlights and answers the question of why the move transpired and what I plan on doing in the future (essentially everything I have been doing and more).

Thanks again for all the support....emails, PM's etc. I don't have any "dreams of grandeur" and honestly vision alot of hard work over the next few years building this, but I'm pretty confident it will be very rewarding as well.

Cheers,
Tony

PS....Screen name to be changed this week!!

Tony, I know you're busy getting your new venture going but will you back as a sponsor through your new venture at some point?

Congrats Tony, I am excited to see what your new company has in store for us. I know the heads/cam/intake I got from you for sure is a work of art and puts down some serious power.

I'm sure I will be doing business with you soon again!

I used to think that too until I realized how much of a pain in the *** being the boss is.

Good luck Tony.

Default Just saying HELLO

Wow.....ONE freaking post count.....does this suck....LOL

NEWB!!

Anyway.....at least the Tony Mamo @ AFR "library" still exists

OK guys....so I am a sponsor and my new name screen name is a shortened version of my old screen name.

In the future please use this one (in a few months the other name wont be able to accept PM's anyway).

Need a cool avatar and links to my website and all that good stuff....just have a ton of things on my plate right now.

Good to be back....I only have 9 more years and 355 days to get my 10 year member status back also

Oh well....that's life as they say.....please contact me if I can be of any assistance.

In 6-12 months I will let you know if the Captain of the ship is all its cracked up to be....LOL

Cheers,
Tony

PS.....Looks like I was grandfathered in for 50 post counts as a sponsor.....its a start!
