I found a great deal on a BTR spring kit that was installed but never ran. My question is are all the parts okay to reuse? ...not sure on the locators and seals.

Also the the same kit is used for 243 and 241 heads correct?

 

I would not reuse the seals once installed. Get new ones from FelPro. Everything else should be fine if you trust the seller.

All factory ls cathedral heads use the same springs. Some factory heads use a 1 piece seal/spring seat that must be removed for use with aftermarket springs and seals.

 

Thanks for the response! The kit was on 243's and going on my 241s. From my understanding I won't have to remove the vakve seat from my heads. Is that correct?

 

You will need to remove your seals to put the locators on then new seals.
