Default new cam ... P2V clearance issues?

Found a guy on the forum selling a nitrous and NANO bottle for the right price so I picked them up for spares. He also had a slightly used cam, LS7 lifters, and new springs that were also priced fairly. Here are the cam and springs:

Mast behive valve springs (with seats retainers and locks) new never used
.600 LIFT 140closed 328 open

Custom BTR Nitrous Cam 238/258 .586/596 113+4

On a stock LS1 with 241 heads do you think we'll have P2V clearance issues and will we need different pushrods? I know it will shine when we spray 150-200 but how do you think it will work NA? I'm eventually going to go H/I too but haven't decided on which heads yet so I may just try this now and see how much it picks us up.

I'd check with that cam. It has a pretty long duration which is where the problems come in not the lift. The springs seem OK although the open pressure is light and may cause valve train control issues at high RPM. I think you mean 113+4 lsa? I think it will run like poo on the street NA.

Yes, meant 113+4. Thanks for catching that.

We only race the car. My wife runs it NA and we're hoping to go 10s with a H/C/I package and I'll run it on nitrous and hope to run solid 9s.

I'd want to see a stronger spring for drag where you're going to be maxing out RPM or lighter valves. I always measure for pushrods regardless of what worked for someone else. Cheap and easy to do to be sure.
