Default Darton MID Resleeve Blocks: Problems?

After doing a search on dry and wet sleeve (old design) resleeve blocks, its clear that there were a great deal of problems in the early going. Everyone seems to think that Darton MID design is now the way to go. I wanted to see if the Darton MIDS are experiencing the same number of problems.

Earl, If your interested in the wet sleeve blocks feel free to swing by our shop and have a look at one first hand. I have one we are getting ready to build right now. You are more than welcome to come check it out.

MID sleeves are by far the way to go. I have one in the shop ready for assembly as well. With the design of the sleeves they are stronger and will not shift or drop. They are completely replacable if something were to happen to a cyl. Creates a much more solid deck surface for the head gaskets to seal.

I'm gonna get one of those blocks

They rock.

I just need a core LS1 block first
