Newb question
Hey guys, excuse the ignorance but im new to the whole LS thing would like some insight.
I have a 2002 LM7. A guy I know has a Ls9 cam for sale and is suggesting I buy it. I heard they're good for boosting the LM7. What are your thoughts on using that cam without boost?
I have my sights set on

The guy I know wants to sell the Ls9 cam for 100 bucks.
What do you guys think

The Summit link wouldn't pull up BTW. What where you pointing to?
LS9 cam could make a decent budget boost cam due to its lopsided(to exhaust) duration specs. But it isn't a drop-in. You would have to convert to LS2-style cover and cam sensor and I think a single-bolt timing gear.

The LS7 is quite similar but with a little tighter LSA. I've got a beautiful example you can have for $50+shipping if you still want to go that route and want to save some $. I bought it thinking(drinking) LS6 and have no use for it.
