and fwiw i calculated the SP's for this 224/114 graph https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...achmentid=1761

comes out to 6800 being optimal using http://www.prestage.com/carmath/calc_shiftpoints.asp

so no need to get loud...even with the 6100 rpm peak he should shift @ 6800 if you want to get the most out of it.

It all depends, my 222/224 114LSA cam peaks at ~7k :

You can install it advanced a few degrees to raise the peak (at the expense of low end). Some cams also have advance ground into them.

i think your dyno was done unlocked which throws off the #'s by a couple hundred rpm if i remember correctly but yah even if you make peak at 6000 if your basically flatlining till 6300-6400 your not gonna shift till after that anywayz...i shift at 6600 when my cam peaks at 6300 + flatlines till past 6600, but thats where I feel safe having my auto shift.

Mine Peaks at 6100rpm's with my M6, so it just depends where your peak point is, just get it dynoed and see where your at. Check the page for my Mods, im doing 378rwhp & 378tq, dyno was right after install
