Default Cutting/ turning down valves

Brian Tooley Racing offers LS3 hollow stem intake valves that can be turned down for different applications. I would like to know if anyone on here is running cut down LS3 intake valves and whether or not the valves have enough material to be cut down to fit a 243 head (2.00"-2.02"). LS6 Z06 valves cannot be found for my project. Even 243/799 heads are getting hard(er) to find.

For the exhaust... does anyone have the measurements for the LS9 exhaust valve and would anyone happen to know if sodium filled valves could be turned down to fit (1.6xx" i think to 1.55"-1.57")

On my personal car (67 chevelle with 377sbc) i have turned down LS7 intake valves (2.140") and ls7 exhaust valves and have no issues.

I would just ask brian if he can cut them that much. Its only .082 radially so it shouldnt be much of an issue.

TEA does that machine work, and they have cut them down to 2.04" for 3.900" bore applications many times for us and is what I would recommend. We have some LS9 exhaust valves if you need them, they can be turned down to 1.57", no problem.
