Default 5.4 Build

Looking to build a street car project for the shop. Nothing to crazy, looking to use a few parts here around the shop to throw something together.
I have a donor engine 2004 Truck motor, 5.4.

I have some heads here that have been around as most of the stock porting stuff has slowed down that I was going to use.

I will be putting some cool trick's in them and have them fully done up with 7mm stem Tit valves(2.03") and should flow about 320's cfm.

Im in need of a Carb single plan intake(Super Vic., If anyone has one they would like to sell) also Small bore pistons, and some Rods.

Do a custom cam and let the guy's have some fun. Little street car.

I will post some pictures as we go through the heads.

Manley makes some nice 7mm stuff. I built a limited late model roundy round few years back and it revved cleanly to 7600 with a single beehive and those lightweight valves.
Stuff was NOT cheap though.... GL2ya

Yes, I will be cutting down some Cup stuff. But yes, I have a hard time not putting Titanium intake valves in anything I have. I will also probably have a pretty aggressive cam lobe in it as well.

But right now the shop is so busy, it's a little at a time type project until things clear out.

What beehive spring? PAC?
I have some really good PSI springs that I was going to use. Small wound Daul springs.

how long do you expect a valve job to last with titanium on the street?

I have had good luck and have never had much issues. That being said, I have one of our race cars that has close to 250passes on the same valve job(5 years old)

The seat & seat angle play a huge part. With 45* seat, with proper spring pressure and right contact. They should be fine.

Not really looking to go cross country, but if I was. I would be using Stainless with the lightest spring, retainer and locks possible.
