cleaning up crank threads???
ok, i recently put on my d1-sc kit but the pulley kept wobbling. i kept tryin to figure out why which of course made me swap a few crank bolts. the end threads on 2 of the bolts were chewed up, bent, and on one flattened completely. i ordered a bolt stright from ATI and now the bolt will thread in some then it gets tough to thread like the inside threads are gummed up? i was wondering if i should get a tap of the exact same size as the bolt and try to clean up the threads? if this shouldn't be done then what should i do? thanks guys.

Honestly…. You could just clean up the thread and hope for the best, it may work. However, if I was about to drive a blower off the nose of the crank with these issues, I wouldn’t stuff around. Pull it out and fix it properly, before you do some serious damage and waste more time and money.
