Team:
I have decided I am going with LS6 cam on my 2002 WS6 and have following ordered list, ofcourse JJ is doing install:
- 25735 7.400 Stock Length LS1 Manley Pushrods
- 12565308 LS6 2002 Z06, 204/218 Duration @ 0.050. Hydraulic Roller Camshaft
- 12565313 2002 LS6 valve springs
However I just want to make sure that if should use the LS6 springs with this setup as I recently read a post on the valve float problem at ~6700rpm.
I am planning on moving my rev limiter to 6600 rpm. Am I fine with LS6 springs or I should get stiffer aftermarket springs.
Pls advice,
Adnan K

Pushrods can be .050 longer with this cam , 7.400 will work but won't open the valve a 100 percent. because the Z06 cam has a smaller base circle, also the valves in a 2002 Z06 has a longer valve stem than the LS1.My motor is having the same change today 10/10/05.
