Default Cleaning and Assembling Heads

So I picked up a 5.3 the other day out of a 03 GMC Denali, and the whole thing is pretty gross and dirty haha. Will be starting a build thread for my turbo 260z soon but that's a different story.

I also picked up a seat of ls1 heads yesterday that have the valves and springs in them.

So my 2 questions are:

1. I work at a car dealership, and they have a automatic Cuda parts washer. Can I take my old 862 heads and put them in there? They still have the valves and springs in them also. I'm going to sell them, but I'd like to clean them up first before I take pictures of them.

2. Will the stock pieces from my 862 heads fit in my 241 heads? (Rockers, lifter trays, all that)

Thanks guys

You would probably be alright using the parts washer on the heads. All the valve train stuff should interchange.

Are you swapping to lower compression?
