Another oil pressure question. I had zero pressure on my brand new motor so I dropped the pan changed the pickup O ring then I primed the system. I had 60 psi. The engine has not been started just turned over with no plugs. I checked it several times throughout the week and 60 psi every time. So it's been a few weeks and now there is zero pressure again. I still haven't tried to start it with no pressure. Would it be alright to start it and maybe it get pressure then. Any ideas. Thanks
My car sits for 14 days at a time without ANYONE touching it. I'd personally start it, and watch it like a hawk.
If you don't have pressure within 10 seconds there's an issue... A big one bc it wouldn't make sense for you to all the sudden not have oil pressure and you haven't even ran the motor.
