Which valve & spring kit for a 5.3
Which valve & spring kit for a 5.3 I have a 2005 Tahoe that was sucking down coolant. Turns out I am 99% sure I have a cracked head.

I ordered a set of heads from my local dealer and they came in with the same casting number and castech logo on them. Since I have no way of knowing if they are a revised design (unless anyone on here knows) I had them take the heads back.
Now I need heads. I have access to a set of NOS 862 heads without the castech logo, but they are bare. I don't know if I want to buy bare heads and swap over the 190,000 mile valves, springs, seals, keepers.
So I am looking for recommendations on a valve, spring, seal, keeper kit. I see kits on ebay but I am leery of their quality.
I just need this to go back and forth to work, I am not upgrading the engine, I am keeping everything stock. Does anyone have any good advise on a particular valve kit I can research prices on?
Before I invest in bare heads I need to know how much everything is going to cost. If it is high, I may just look for a long block if it's not going to bee that much more $$ ya know?

For the retainers I'd just use the stock ones you have. Hell, you can probably use the locks you have as well, but there's the info just in case.
