Default 4.8 horsepower

Does anybody know what kind of horsepower/torque can be expected from a stock 4.8 with all the emission deletes done, headers, and a really good tune? Is 315 at the flywheel a reasonable expectation? Thanks.

What year 4.8? If it's one of the later ones making 280hp then it would not be out of the realm to say it makes just over 300 after all those mods are complete.

99 models were rated at 255 flywheel
In 2000 they jumped up to 270 and as stated eventually crept up to 280
One could conclude that headers and a sweet tune should be worth about 35

Headers, a good 93-based tune, and a fresh set of plugs and oil will put you at 300+ flywheel.

Mine is 320 at the flywheel with 243 heads, emissions deleted, dyno tuned, ported LS2 intake.
