Default Thermostat

So I just installed a new radiator and a new 185 thermostat. What temp should I expect to see before the thermostat opens? It got up to 212 and did not open? I had the same problem with the last thermostat that is why I replaced it. What's the issue?

You need to have the turn on/off temperatures of the fans set lower in the tune.

It's not a major! Your tuner just needs to connect a laptop & alter the on/off setting

I'm confused by the responses. The fans operate correctly and come on at the right time. The thermostat isn't opening up. That is the issue. Does that still have to do with the computer?

How do you know it's not opening? Did you put it in boiling water to test?

And if it's not opening in the car, it could be because you have air in the system.

If it's a temp thing, it could be a faulty sensor or that the fans are not coming on as intended.

Probably have air in the system like Jake said. A lot of people have a hard time getting the air out.

I agree that there is most likely air in the system. If that is the case, how am I supposed to get it out if it's not cycling any fluid through?
