Best combo for high 11's 2004 GTO
Ok I love the head and cam options you guys listed, and have been looking into all of them. All seem to be a great choice, and I have some other questions. The half shafts from what I read seem to be the weak point of the IRS. I also found guys running the 6.0 half shafts as a cheap upgrade.
Also call me search challenged, but i looked and looked and heard about these drag bags but CAN'T find them on any of the big performance parts dealers sites... Jegs or Summit racing.
All I can say is I was actually happy that my friends full bolt on 2v gt with 4:10's could hold me at the top end, and im stock
As far as the auto goes I have a access to a nicely used TH400 with, full manual valvebody and was behind a 6.0 for cheap. What would I need to delete/program from the computer to make this work. I heard I could use my M6 cross member with modifications to get it to work. I would love to see what I could run with a TH400 and bolt on's. Let me know what you guys think and thanks for the advice!

You will need to find a way to tell the computer that the car is moving down the street or that is it idling. I think it's called a VSS signal generator or something like that.

Thanks for the help finding drag bags, im just going to piece together a good top end kit and do my suspension correctly and I think I will hit my 11.90's
