Default LQ4 with 04 Ls6 Cam

Hey guys i have a 2001 LQ4 Thats ready to go into my 99 z28 , i also have an 04 ls6 cam on the shelf with everything needed to throw it in , i see that most of the lq4 motors that are in bolt on CARS not trucks dyno around 320 hp / 330 torque to the wheels. In my car it will have ls6 intake , long tubes ory, slp loudmouth , UD pulley. MY question is , is it worth it to swap in the ls6 cam? im concerned with the low 9:5 compression ration, this isnt an all out build or anything id be happy with 360-370 wheel as a nice weekend driver. To make the ls6 cam happy would i have to put in the 243 heads as well to bump CR ?

Looking for opinions

I think that low compression ratio is your biggest enemy. The 243/799 heads would help but I don't think the LS6 cam will do much either way.

How about something along the lines of a 228r on 112 LSA , will that make decent numbers with the 9:5 cr?

More cam isn't going to make a low compression motor better, get a set of 5.3 heads or something, anything to make the compression a little higher. I had an LS6 crate motor and in a lighter car with higher compression it was still pretty lazy down low.
