Default question about milling heads

Alright guys so I pulled my heads cause I had a lifter issue I wanted to take care of before it got worse.

I know that 799s or something would be awesome to do but its just not in the budget right now so I was thinking of milling mine while they are at the machine shop.

My only concern is that I have a bbk intake.
How far can you safely mill before you run into issues with that intake bolting up? I was only thinking of doing .020

Give me some guidance here before I do something ill regret

I milled my 853 heads 0.030 and with my stock intake fitting is no issue. I check with clay if there is forming any lip to the bottom of the port and its very minimal if noticable. When you mill heads, you are going to need shorter pushrods and have some limits when choosing camshaft unless you cut valve reliefs to pistons.

You can always mill the face of the intake and/or heads to make up for the difference in deck milling.

I think I might run into PTV issues acutally if I mill..
My new cam is going to be a 232/234 with .626/.626 on a 111+4.

What do you guys think? too big to mill?

Might get away with cutting 10 or so. It's always best to check and flycut if needed.
