Default Head questions

Hello all. Looks like I may have a head gasket issue on my hands. So first question, is it possible to remove the heads while the motors in the car?? Second question, are a set of 263 or 799 heads better than the stock 241 and will all my comp cams double springs and pushrods go directly into the 263s without any issue?? Thanks for looking

You probably meant 243 and 799. Yes they are better than the 241 head. The heads can be removed with the engine in the car. Just takes time and patience. Springs should swap over no problem.

Can be done. I did mine in the car. If it's an F-body, watch those cowl screws. They bite
