double chain
i am building a 6.0 heads cam motor with a mild bore etc. there will be some nitrous use on the motor. will it be that advantagious to me to use a double roller timing chain? i like the price of the one from SDPC, and i've heard from several people on this board that it is a good one.

Yes, the Rollmaster Double Roller is a great upgrade for an even better price. You wont need any custom modifications to make it fit, its a simple slap on <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
I bought a cloyes fire hardened gears double roller when I was going to rebuild the engine for high boost, when I decided to hell with FI and build a big inch NA motor I could have used the timing set you are considering (ARE uses them in their big inch engines)the Cloyes is around $400 which is twice as much as you are talking about, another $200 down the drain.
I just put one one my cam only car. Let me tell you - side by side - the stock one looks about as sturdy as a paper plate next to the double roller. And for 93 bucks for the hardened one with the torrington bearing I don't think you can go wrong.
