5.3 Lifter Noise I have a 2004 5.3 with tooley double spring and retainer set. Chromoly pushrods stock cam and Delphi ls7 lifters. And when the engine gets hot it develops a lifter noise, on the passenger side only. I am feeding my turbo from the pressure port and the engine is still holding 37psi of oil pressure at idle. does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong with this engine?

That is heavy for these engines but I don't know about your build how the bearing clearances were setup. I'll tell you what you could try is a few ozs of TransX transmission sealer in the engine oil. It will swell that o ring a bit and may help the lifter noise. Another thing I tried that worked was some ATF in the engine oil, Its a old GM dealer trick to quiet noisy lifters if they are dirty. But I'll bet you have o ring troubles its very common.
I'm using Chevron Delo 400 10-30 heavy duty truck oil in my LS1, quiet and runs great. Got it from Walmart.
