Default brian tooley/lil john, help Solid roller rocker noise

lil back ground on engine.
lq9 365 lunati pro series crank and rods. wiesco 4.005 -8cc, trick flow 255 with tit. 650 lift springs, crower shaft rockers, 8.400 5/16 push rods, comp solid roller link lifters, fast 102 intake, comp double roller timing set, running straight 50wt vr1 race oil,

cam is a LJMS.
239/243 116+5 620 627..
I have lash set cold .008ex and .007in. cold start valve train is pretty quiet. as it warms up to operating temp they get a little louder at idle. Im ok with it, but as i drive the car around 2000rpm they get really loud, anything above 2k valve noise not as bad just in that 1900-2100 window they are very noticeable...

(I know solid rollers make noise just seems lil excessive)

Should i tight up lash more? or leave it?, Longer i drive the louder they get in the rpm window, engine has about 200miles on it I do not want to be hurting it already.
thanks for any input

Kent, I still want a ride. Like I need any more of a reason to go FI, but I'm sure it will send me over the edge.

Damn things got to be a handful. You going to be 100% ready for SCT STL? You know this weekend is Shelby Fest here in town. They are supposed to be all out cruising tonight.

I was thinking .002"-.003", the heads will grow and you'll gain lash.

Tighter lash is easier on parts, looser lash is harder on parts. Be easy on those parts.

Seen some guys especially aluminum block go .000 to .002. Tighten her up and let it rip. Of course if it makes noise again I would investigate further.
