Default LS1 Noob. Need help picking H/C/I for my needs.

Hey guys! I'm new to the LS world and am looking for a heads/cam package that will fit my needs. I'm looking to buy a new truck soon (just got my first high paying job) and won't be daily driving the Trans Am much longer. With that said, I would like to keep the car still pretty streetable. No super aggressive cam that makes the car unbearable to drive. I would prefer to get 425-450rwhp out of the car, honestly. I already have full exhaust (GMMG Catback, QTP Cutouts, SLP Longtubes) and just need to know where to go from here.

Current mods:

GMMG Catback
QTP Cutouts
SLP Longtubes
LS6 Intake (Came stock on my car)

So, with that said, what head/cam package would suit my needs? Also planning on a FAST intake, but going to do the head/cam first. I would prefer to keep most of the drivability, but I definitely don't want it so tame to where I don't pick up a good chunk of power. Thanks guys! Any questions, just ask. It's a 65k mile 02 WS6.

You can go mild or wild, budget or top dollar. Anything over the 450 rwhp area is going to get noticeably more expensive

MMS 220 cylinder heads (light valves), MAMOFIED FAST 102, NW 102TB,
CAMMOTION 227*/231* 114*+2* .610"/.590". Combo made ~490 RWHP
in a C5 M6 with light clutch and all the attention to details.
F Body 450 all day long, ~470 with all the details. Small/med cam
Great Driveability! easier on valvetrain/springs with CAMMOTION lobes.
That's a premium combo but the results are proven, look up the
Thread on MMS220 heads.

Visit Mamomotorsports.com and shoot Tony a email or even try giving him a call.
I agree with NavyBlue. Having a great drivable combo comes from everything working together as a team. The heads need to match your intake and the cam needs to match it all.
Don't make the mistake and buy the biggest cam that just sounds goods and only makes power north of 5000 rpm..... you'll hate it and regret it.
Do it once and never have to do it again
