243 still salvageable?
I have seen some pretty bad heads repaired, best to get advice from a head shop like Tony Mamo, AI, etc. Of course there may not be a good cost trade-off between repair and replacement if this is a stock 243 head.

This! They aren't going to be worth it. Those will need to be milled, chambers repaired, some of the seats look beat and I am guessing you have or will be buying new valves, you will want to have those lapped as well. Just guessing the above will roughly run you atleast 300-400 bucks at the machine shop. You could find nice take-offs with valves for that.
