Chasing a no start n 5.3 swap.
Will start and run for a bit then cut right off. (a bit being 1 second, maybe two.)
Fuel pressure is good...at first then drops off immediately after... according to the gauge
I have been told it could be VATS, but I have quite a few unlocked pcm's and all 3 render the exact same result.
The cam sensor, crank angle sensor and map sensor are properly secured but I am not sure what method to use to check them as far as functionality. (Can this be done with HPtuners?)
The car ran fine last year with the exact same pcm and I have not done much since.
I did plug up a cheap scanner for codes but got nothing of value. I was hoping to see bad cam position sensor or something. Only code I saw was for emissions.

The cause of the short was the drive belt broke longitudinally and the whipcord hanging off of it cut the harness.
Bottom line - check your engine side fuses to see if youve got a short somewhere.
