Ordered my 228R cam\Springs\rods today from Texas speed. I also have a pair of ported and polished 862 heads with 317 valves for it. Excited to get her going. Also have a LS1 intake and also a LS2 intake for the build.
I need to pick up a 90mm drive by cable Throttle body.
Plan to use a 4L60E in a 93 coupe mustang. Looking forward to getting it on the road....

The heads were done at Fast Track Performance in copperas Cove near Killeen. I bought a 5.3 short block and the 862 heads. Then ran across the Lq4 so I'm gonna use the 862 heads on the LQ4.
Are you running a Lq4?
