Default Oops. Is it fixable?

So I'm in the middle of the LS6 pcv conversion: and my Dremel kicked the bucket.

So I stepped it up to a cut off wheel, and did some damage.

How screwed am I? Think some RTV would do the trick (I'm thinking outside of the bolt... As I'd be afraid it'll come loose and make its way into the motor if I just filled the crack with it.

You don't need to do anything, its fine like it is. I'd stay away from using that cut off wheel ...........

Yea.... I had the whole area taped off to trap the shavings and didn't even realize it until I took it off...

You think the gasket will seal fine as is?

Yes, it will be fine. The groove is inside the gasket area.

If you're still concerned, weld fill it, grind/sand it flat. Will be ok.
