Default Ls7 rotating assembly in lq4?

Could an ls7 rotating assembly with custom Pistons be used in an lq-4 or ls-2 block to create a 402 stroker? Any downsides to doing this?

I personally think it will be okay. I would get the 58 tooth reluctor wheel off and on talk a 24 tooth reluctor wheel to save a headache down the road.

This would be retrofitted into an 80 trans-am. What's the issue with 58 tooth wheels?

Really no issues but however the 24 tooth is just easier to work with..... I see a lot of guys have problems out those converter boxes. Could had been prevented by installing a 24 tooth and ditching the 58..

There is a guy doing this already. Look in the Gen IV Internal section, he has a build thread.
