Default 408 stroker

Hey guys I am doing a 408 stroker with a s480 in my 99 camaro. I have a list of parts and a lot of stuff already, but just making a list of everything. Let me know your guys opinions. Doing e85 for fuel

6.0 iron block
Callie comp crank 4imch
Callie compstar rods. 6.125
Wiseco pistons. (With heads should put me at 9.6-9.7 compression
AFR 210cc heads (already have)
LS9 head gaskets
Ls7 lifters and trays
C5r timing chain
Melling oil pump
Fast 102/102tb (already have)
Upgraded rocker trunions (comp) already have

That's pretty much the motor setup. Hoping for 1000+ on e85.

Depending on boost level I'd say you won't have an issue getting close to that number. Did you already pick a camshaft?

Might want to upgrade to a more robust crank like a Dragonslayer or Magnum for a power adder.

I didn't pick a camshaft yet but Fran at rpm was going to custom grind my cam for me. I was debating switchjng to a s484 but I'm pretty sure a 480 will do just fine.

What's the reasoning behind the different cranks?

Strength. The Compstar is a lower quality crank, but it is still a good crank.
1000whp might be more common that it was 10 years ago, but it is still some serious power.

Should I switch my rods then? I don't mind switching cranks, the shop hasn't ordered it yet anyway. I'm using the Callie compustar 6.125 inch rods. And wiseco 4.030 -20cc piston. Will those parts still be fine?

The Compstar rods are pretty stout and should be okay. I do like to use a heavy wall pin or a tool steel pin though.
