Is there any company, (i've checked many of the sponsors), that sells a forged 346 or 348? Would a cheaper alternative be a TSP ls1 block (600-700) with the 3500 lunati crank kit, it would be the 8.5 compression kit for forced induction.

Maybe I should just wait and get an ls2 and try to twin turbocharge it...

it depends on what your looking for and your application. APE is always a great choice, and i believe HPE is having some kind of shortblock sale now as well. a nice forged 346-348 should run you ~2800 + core.

I'm looking for a twin turbo motor. Will a polished and magnafluxed stock crank hold with the higher horsepower, i.e. 800+? I think I need a forged one.

at 800+ I would say forged.......the stock unit can take a lot but once you get way out there its not worth the chance of it snapping and blowing the rest of your engine away.

It's actually not a sale... Just our normal pricing. Here are some details..
