Jegs camshafts
Don't get me wrong when comes time for serious business I ring up Pat G and get a cam spec'd. i have the trick flow 216-220 in at 109.5 cl in my fresh .20 over 5.3 243 heads victor jr demon 850 carb 1 3/4 headers just got it running with strait headers no exh yet sounds great like it has a lot bigger cam cranking compression is at 215 psi
How many people do need to chme in? There are several dyno examples and several other reviews here. What else do you want to know? They are a great option for someone on a smaller budget looking to save here and there. There isnt really any magic here. I am still beating the **** out of the 228/230 grind in my six speed car. Like stated prior,I would definitely replacd the normal cam swap parts. (Lifters, oil pump, push rods)
I'm going to run the TFS 216/220 cam again in my LQ4 turbo. Very street-able, good vacuum and made a hell of a lot less valve train noise than some other cams I ran. Price is good too. What more can a person want lol!!
Looks like they are ground by Elgin cams, they have the exact same specs as the trickflow/jegs cams and can be found for about $240 on ebay. I just picked up the 220/224 for my 4.8 and the cam card that came with it looks just like the one from the jegs cam a friend bought last year.
