PM Tony Mamo who designed those when he was @ AFR or just call his cell number from the Mamo Motorsports website. He now offers a cnc program for the 5.3 heads if you have those, or else the Trick Flow 205 is a great choice with 58 cc chambers.https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...d-results.html

I'm weeks away from launching the ultimate 5.3 liter head.....it will have a low 200 cc port, a 1.970/1.570 valve combination, and Im targeting 290+ CFM which is honking thu a small port and a small valve both meant to compliment the smaller real estate (bore size) of any 4.8/5.3 liter build.

Program looks great.....making some small adjustments to the chamber positioning this week and I will publish final flow numbers and pricing shortly after. Will start a new post with the product launch as well.

Stay tuned!

Would that also put your port efficiency around 1.45? Your 220 and 235 heads are right around there. Is that what you target or is that sort of a maximum achievable for various other reasons like runner length, etc?

Not to hijack but that jumped out at me 290/200=1.45

Good catch....which would be more challenging with a small bore and a small valve. It may turn out to be a little less than that but even getting close would be bonus cause clearly the small bore engine forcing my hand to design a small valve head means its all a compromise and you do what you can within the confines of that compromise!

I suspect it will be at least in the low 1.4's when the smoke clears but who knows....we may get a slight surprise on the upside as well (and I don't have inside info yet.....LOL).

I think the port may come in closer to 205 cc's btw....but even that is up for debate still at this point....I haven't finalized any of the program cutter offsets just yet.

Looking forward to the final numbers.....I'm really pleased how the port program and chamber came out.....just tweaking position at this point

Not to sure if they will work with that exhaust valve but I have these http://texas-speed.com/p-4345-prc-st...-outright.aspx on my LM7 5.3 with 58 cc chambers. I don't have #'s but I left the cam the same 212/218 113 .530 .530 Lunati and there is a big seat of the pants improvement. I am now going to change my cam to take advantage of my heads. I have this in a 1992 2wd pickup and goes pretty good.
