Default mix bearing shell

Im using 'a' series federal mogul mains and got .002" clearance which i think is a little too tight for my lq4 since im going turbo. I cant find any .001" undersize mains 'a' series so can i mix in another manufacturers main bearing in the lower halves? I understand that even though the other manufacturers bearing is .001" undersize it doesnt mean it is .001" thinner than my fm's.
