Default cam/build advice

Looking for a little advice on cam/build idea for a road race setup. I do not want to exceed 375-380 rwhp and would like a broader power band with RPM range of 3k-6800.

Some base info
LS1/T56 from '04 GTO
stock 241 heads with PSI 1511ml springs
LS6 intake
stock bottom end
LS7 lifters
trunion upgrade
oil restricting push rods
along with other oil specific items like Melling oil pump, accusump, oil coolers etc...
1 3/4 inch headers
rest of exhaust? up for ideas but needs to go to a single exit and I'd prefer something not obscenely loud and no need for cats.

Was thinking about a cam along the lines of 226/232 with around .540 lift on the 1.7 rockers 112 ICL +2 advance 114LSA. Low lift to be easy on the valve train due to always being in the higher ranges of RPMs. And RPMs are important to me due to my 4.10 rear and fairly high speed straights on the tracks. Will sadly be this way for a bit until I can afford a rear end swap. Again not looking for more than around 375rwhp due to the weight/hp ratios of the class I am interested in.

T56 trans, going in an rx7, around 2800#

Light weight flywheel, plan on keeping the clutch, it's an ls7 and looks fairly new. Figured I'd save some money and replace it when needed.

For a broader power range you'll want better heads with a mild cam. I would suggest the 243 or 799 heads with that cam you listed. The compression from the smaller chambers will help a lot on the low rpm torque.

Check out thunderstruck' info. He is right at 400. You could mirror his build pretty closely and have a very good idea where you'll be on power

a 222/226 cam from EPS and stock ls6 heads and intake should put you right around that range and give you a nice powerband. and be really stable at high RPM's on those lobes.
