TFS 220 pushrod length
UPS just showed up with some Trickflow as cast 220's cleaned up by Brian Tooley.

My first set of Trickflows on any motor and from what I understand they need a little bit longer pushrod. I know your gonna tell me to measure and so I did...
Im coming in at 7.400(7.395'ish if you wanna get crazy) including .050 for preload. Heads were milled to 62cc. Using Johnson 2110's and a GM MLS gasket. Cam is an FTI Streetsweeper(235/241 .625/.625 111+2). Stock rockers with CHE bushings.
Got the same result at zero lash 3 times in a row. Seems short to me considering it appears most use a 7.50+ pushrod with TFS stuff.
For comparison...I threw in my old 7.425 pushrods and only went to 1/2 turn before I hit 22 ft lbs(too long or am I backwards)? Where are you TFS guys at for pushrod length?
Sorry for the newb questions...my other build was generic, catalog bolt together stuff. Trying to get it right the first time(on the 2nd try) hahaha
I want to get some 11/32 Manton's ordered up in the AM.
Thanks

Coming in at 7.450 including .040 preload, which I'm pretty confident is where it needs to be(milled, smaller base circle).
