Default ?'s about doing some mods

so i am looking to put a cam in my car i have a 1998 camaro ls1 ss and i have borla headers and exhaust, tune from frost 18 in fly wheel and a monster clutch . I really wanna get a ls6 intake different throttle body and a nice cam i just dont know what cam is perfect i drive it almost everyday. so just wanna know what size cam i was told to get a 228-232 duration .57-.59 lift and i know i need valve springs and lifts but is that all?

While your doing a cam swap you mine as well do.
new timing chain. Upgrade to ls2
New oil pump
New lifters.

Sponsors here have cam kits so do some research on them

That cam you mention looks decent based on the limited specs. What are the future goals for the car?

The FTI StreetSweeper HT has been an awesome cam for a street/track LS. I had one when I was a 5.7 and got over 400 rwhp and great drive-ability with no cam surge.

I would go with something like the Speed Inc SI5 231/237 or TSP Torquer 2 232/234.

A lot of guys like the f13 from fms. Futural motor sports

I'm currently running the f14 in my car but no times or numbers yet
