Does anyone have experience purchasing different company heads on Ebay? Of note, I'm not asking about all the threads you see where people are buying budget heads of unknown origin on Ebay- I mean purchasing an actual set of AFR heads on Ebay. The listing claims they're new. With ebay's leverage towards the buyer, is it worth the risk ?

Why even take a chance when the sponsors of this site carry AFR heads? Not to mention that Tony guy posts here pretty frequently.

I've never bought anything from eBay, but I know a couple people who have and they didn't have much luck. They were basically sold blems that needed work to make perfect, but the blems were just cosmetic.

What kind of feedback does the company/seller have? Have they sold similar items, and if so, what were the buyer's feedback?

I would never buy anything as elaborate as heads from eBay. Not when there are several other good options. That's just me though

Agreed, certain things Ebay is great for, heads isn't one of them.
