Is anybody running Dart 225's? I've looking at a set of Dart 225's a guy has for sale, but from what I can see they aren't that great of a head. I've got ported 243's now and they don't look that much better than my heads. Anybody have any input on these heads? |
I wouldn't do the swap considering you already have ported 243's |
I have them and milled to 58cc, 62cc is stock, I did a little bowl work on mine to reduce the valve guide boss in size and picked up 14-19cfm at every lift, mine flow 327 at .600 lift with a 2.055" Ferrera 12* valve |
Yeah, I could probably get a good deal on them, but I think I'm gonna pass. I guess I'm gonna just have to nut up and get some AFR's.... |
I run the AI cnc ported Dart heads. Bad ass heads for sure. Lots of companies have a cnc program for them. |

Ed Curtis speaks highly of the Dart heads, and says that with some minimal work, those heads are great. |
Darts are a good aftermarket budget head...The odd thing is I have yet to see anybody make more power with them over a 243 worked by a competent porter(AI, TEA, Livernois). |
