hey does any1 know where u can find a engine rebuild kit fir a 99 firebird i dont knwo how to look it up would u look under gm or pontiac or buick and also are the engine in the 96-97 the same as the ones in the 99 thanks for any info later

 

engines are different than the buicks. slightly different in block design. They also take different bearings and such, not to mention the rods and things are diff length i believe. You will need to get ahold of a machinist most likely to find a listing on a kit though.
