Default 243 heads over 317s on lq9?

I'm getting ready to swap out a lq9 in my 91 C1500, getting a 231/235 cam from tick performance. Lq9 came with the 317s but is it worth swapping some 243s on it? Going to be a daily driver plus I might throw some nitrous on it.. I plan on saving the 317s if i do get some 243s since i have some twin 67s sitting in my room but that wont happen til maybe next year... I just want the most power out of it for now N/A/nitrous... Right now truck has a ls1 with a cam, ls6 intake,t56 with 4.10s. Also have 42lb injectors to go with the lq9 swap..

It's worth it in general, but not so much on a mild build like yours.

If your were na id say make the switch for a bump in compression but for twins your 317's are fine...

If you are planning for boost next year I recommend sticking with the 317s. Making the swap to the 243s is going to bump compression roughly a full point from where you are with the 317s currently. So if you are staying N/A the swap wouldn't be a bad idea, but if you're going boost stick with what you have.

243s now and 317s later like you have planned is a good way to go
