OK so my random stupid question for the day. Is forged better if so why and is it worth it

Forged anything is stronger than cast. With pistons, though, forged pistons are also heavier. If you don't NEED the strength cast will make more power. Also cast pistons can run tighter piston to wall clearances so the engine will make less noise.
