Good budget deal. Thoughts?
Local guy is selling a set of ported 241 heads that are flow tested to do 280/218 @.600 along with an LS6 intake and ported TB. selling the whole ball of wax for $950. Heads already have PRC springs, Ti retainers and 2.02/1.57 valves.
I have an MS3 that is already in the car and I'd like to give it some elbow room to work and I think it can once I get some decent heads and intake on the car.

Before purchasing be sure to verify chamber size. Since someone else has had their hands on them I would also recommend going ahead and checking PTV clearance as well during install. With the Magic Stick 3 clearance can get pretty tight if the heads have been milled especially with a larger valve set.

I do want to run that cam with the heads and the LS6 intake.
I just picked this car up last week on a trade and it already had the MS3 in it, so I figured I might as well give the cam some components that it can work well with. Ideal configuration for a 'max effort' cam? probably not. However, I figure a 280/218 head will give that particular cam a lot more to work with though.

Just stumbled upon a guy with a set of Patriot Stage 2 243 heads 59cc chambers fully built for $900. I think those would better suit my needs and give me the additional flow capabilities that I need with a cam this size. I think the only thing that I'd probably have to do with a 59cc chamber is check the PTV clearance or just go ahead and fly cut the pistons before putting them on.
