Well i will find out by monday more about what happened heads should be off by then. I am hoping company stands behind their work other wise its probably going to get ugly with the lawyers and such. I am sure glad I have some legal aid though it should help out if they don't want to help me. ( i am doughting this though as so far they are cooperating) Only time will tell though.

Were they stock rods ? If yes, one scenario is they were overheated while putting in piston pins and one gave up now.

How do you know it was running rich? Did you get it on a wideband?

No but black soot on the exhaust and you could smell it.

Also they were not stock rods.

Default It didn't last long part 2 update. Must read!

For those of you who missed the first part here it is. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180831

Update: Both heads are now off the motor and it isn't pretty. Cylinder #1 is toast when we first looked at it the piston was rotated in the cylinder. So i then touched the piston and it FELL YES FELL back into the cylinder. Which could only mean to me that there is no longer a rod there. Also the sleeve is cracked to hell.

I should have some pics posted by tomorrow.

Any ideas about what could have happened?

Also I am still talking to company that built the motor I am send them pics I am hoping they take car of me and my expenses as I don't want to have to go to court over this. And i would hate to ruin a good Rep.
