370ci help
2. Depends on what exactly you are wanting to do as far as the intake goes. Popular choices are the Victor Jr/Super victor combos for the nitrous guys.
3. For that size shot, I wouldn't mill the heads. I would however want a stroker with nitrous.
4. Since you're on E85 CR isn't a huge concern as far as gas goes... I personally would be looking to be in the 12:1-12.5:1 range. I used a +12 domed piston in my old nitrous 370... With stock l92 heads it put me at 12:1 IIRC.
5. I'd do ARP mains.
This is the piston I would recommend: Wiseco PN K447X3 (+12 dome)
This is the rod I would recommend: Callies PN CSC6125DS2A2AH (Callies Compstar H-beam)
If you mill the head .012" and run a .051" thick LS9 gasket with the above piston you will achieve roughly 12.5:1 compression. This will give you a good tuning window to keep from making ashtrays out of pistons on a 300 shot, but still make great power off the bottle as well.
Of course cam timing will also play a large roll in your tuning window when it comes to spraying a shot that big. Relieving the cylinder of heat and pressure from added spent exhaust gasses from such a large shot of nitrous is a cornerstone of a good nitrous camshaft.
