Just bought a new rear main cover from GM Parts Direct, and will be installing it next week. RTV in the corners where the cover meets the oil pan gasket, doesn't seem too difficult! I'm not going to buy the cover alignment tool from Saccitycorvette unless I install everything and find a leak.

Quick question - is Permatex Ultra Black the specific product that I should use?
