Default High mileage ls1

Let me start out by saying I just bought my 1st fbody in 10 years. I bought a 01 ws6 6speed car with 174xxx miles. I'm wanting to put down some pretty hefty numbers with my new build. I'm sure the topic I'm talking about has been beat to death. I'm wanting to build a nitrous build this go around and want to spray up to a 200 shot. Can I get away with bearings, oil pump and forged Pistons? I've read the cranks are only good to 500. Is this true? Also should I buy a completely new rotating assembly since of the mileage?

The stock crank is good for more than 500hp, it's not a Ford. Some genIV rods and forged pistons should be fine for a 200 shot of laughing gas.

I would replace the bearings and seals and upgrade the oem hardware to ARP. Get some 1.875" or 2" primary headers to compliment the nitrous. And let her rip.
