MMS 220 383 and more build - Going Turbo!
#21
Finally getting some good work done!
Got the tires mounted and balanced.
Front Viking setup assembled.
Tearing the suspension apart for a full rebuild.
Test fitting my new RCI standalone tank. I would have bought a N2O outlet standalone, but I got a great deal on a used system on here. Turned out that the seller screwed me, and the tank that was designed to fit where the computer goes, was actually for an RX7, which was failed to be mentioned. I plan to re-do it all with this tank, and the help of another member who has sent me a lot of pics of his setup like this.
Motor getting ready to drop
Motor and Trans out!
Checking out the Tubular K Member.
Beginning the pre disassembly of the motor before putting it on the stand.

Paying close attention to this build. Looks great! Tony talked me into a 383 set up as well so I'm ready to see your results. Gotta get my body ready for the engine first so itll be awhile for me looks great so far man also interested in the results on those mt's!

The engine looks so clean coming out. You can tell it hasn't been in there too long. That's what I've been doing. Selling all my performance parts from my last revision getting ready for the new one. They're never fast enough for us
Nice progress man. Things are going quick! Real nice build.
Awesome idea on the A frame too. I wanted to hang some sort of crane type deal from my ceiling in my garage but I haven't figured it out yet.

Thanks. I've been trying to put some hours in on it too. I'd definitely like to upgrade to an F1. That's an easy mod so I'll see where I'm at when I'm getting ready to put the blower back on. I decided to upgrade my transmission which wasn't in my plans but oh well lol. I put a deposit down yesterday with RPM Trans for a TH400 so I'm excited.

I started a for sale thread if anyone is interested in any parts from the cam only build.

Things are coming along steadily. I try to spend a little bit of time in the garage 2 nights a week, and try to get 1 day on the weekend. So far it has not upset the wife
Got the new prothane motor mounts installed.
You could say it was time for new motor mounts. Once I broke the two halves loose, the original motor mounts just fell out, they were no longer bonded to the metal.

Nice! I still have nightmares about doing my motor mounts.... Aligning the holes was a nightmare! Although with the motor out of the car, you wont have those same issues.
